BCHS Marching Band Competes At Grayson, Prepares for Regional

The Butler County High School Marching Band competed in the Twin Lakes Marching Band Contest, at Grayson County High School on Saturday, October 15, 2011 in their last competition of regular season. The 2A class consisted of four bands, Butler County, Green County, Edmonson County, and Washington County.

Butler County received Best Color Guard in class 2A and placed third overall. Next week they will make the trip to Owensboro Catholic to compete in the 2A regional competition. Good Luck at Regional!!!!

Butler County also took home the Spirit Award.

I am so proud of our band. These students are top notch and they really put their all into these competitions. They devote so many hours to practice so they can represent Butler County well, and they do. I am so looking forward to Regionals and then on to State. They deserve every award they receive. They are special to me and I love them all very much and I am so proud of each one.
