The coaching staff and players of the Butler County  Bears’ softball team will be conducting a softball camp this summer for girls ages 5-12 from June 3-6, 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. daily.  The 12th Annual BCHS Softball Camp will be held at the BCHS Softball Complex off Gardner Lane in Morgantown.  The camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of fastpitch softball and to encourage them to play at the next level.  Eligibility is determined by a player's age at the time of the camp.

The registration fee is $48 and space in limited to no more than 30 players.  Campers will receive a complimentary t-shirt (if your registration is received by Friday, May 24), a certificate of participation, and a softball skills evaluation.   Camp forms will be available at local schools, from Coach Jack Clark at Butler County Farm Bureau or at the Beech Tree News/WLBQ office at 107 West Ohio Street in Morgantown.
