BCHS Honors Seniors

Butler County High School honored its senior football players, cheerleaders, and golfer. 

Mr. Jonah Swift has played golf for 11 years. He is the son of Kenny and Wendy Swift of Dunbar and is being escorted by his parents. After graduation, Jonah is undecided about his plans at this time. His favorite memory is setting the school 18-hole record in front of his team. When asked what he was going to miss the most, Jonah said it was all the friends that he had made.

 

Sally Butler has cheered for seven years. She is the daughter of Casey & Adam Butler of Morgantown and is being escorted by her parents. After graduation, Sally plans to attend college to get an Associate of Science degree in Medical Sonography. Her favorite memories are going to UCA camp, cheering games against rivals, and making it to state multiple times during the last seven years. When asked what she will miss the most, she said her teammates, coaches, and the joy that cheer has brought her for as long as she can remember.

 

Tera Hampton has cheered for seven years. She is the daughter of Tim & Tonya Hampton of Logansport and is being escorted by her parents. After graduation, Tera plans to attend SKYCTC to get her associate's Degree in Pediatric Dental Hygiene.  Her favorite memories are the long bus rides, getting ready together, and spending time with some of her closest friends. When asked what she is going to miss the most, Tera said that she would miss every single bond that she has made this year with the girls. There aren't any other girls that she would want to cheer her last year with besides these. She loves you all and will miss you big!

 

Allison Johnson has cheered for eight years. She is the daughter of Jonathan Johnson of Morgantown and is being escorted by her dad. After graduation, Allison plans to attend the University of Kentucky to pursue a degree in nursing and then to further her career in midwifery. Her favorite memory is competing and making it to state last season. When asked what she will miss the most, Allison said that she will miss her friends on the team, along with all the memories she will take with her forever.

 

Bryleigh Jones has cheered for six years. She is the daughter of Jerry & Christie Hurt of Morgantown and is being escorted by her parents. After graduation, Bryleigh plans to attend college to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. Her favorite memory is to state for the first time with her team from her first year. When asked what she is going to miss the most, Bryleigh said that she will miss the fantastic group of girls that she got to know this year, the other three seniors she has cheered with since 7th grade, and being able to cheer with her best friend Allison and having the best stunt group ever.

 

Dillion Hudnall has played football for five years. He's the son of Charlotte Agee of Morgantown. His mother escorted him. After graduation, Dillion plans to go to welding school and pursue a career in welding. His favorite memory from playing football is playing Grayson County during his sophomore year. When asked what he will miss the most, he said he will miss playing with all his boys. He would like to thank his parents, coaches, and teammates for the support they have given him during his time playing football for BCHS.

 

Everson Padilla-Sanchez has played football for two years. He is the son of Itzel and Gustavo Padilla. His parents escorted him. Emerson's plan after graduation is to go to college. His favorite memory is kicking seven field goals against Clinton County. When asked what he will miss the most, he said he will miss his team. 

 

Jay Peralta has played football for six years. He is the son of Ann and Jack Coffman of Morgantown. His parents escorted him. Jay's plan after graduation is to go to UK to study human health science. His favorite memory from playing football is the seven-on-seven tournament the team played in his sophomore year. When asked what he would miss the most, he said hearing the cheers from the stands and laughing with his teammates. He would like to thank his parents, coaches, and teammates for the support they have given him during his time playing football at BCHS. Jay says, "It's been real bear fam…1 out". 

 

Tyler Skipworth, AKA Skippy, has played football for one year. He is the son of Misty and Frankie Skipworth of Morgantown. His parents escorted him. His plan after graduating is to go to the carpenters' union. His favorite memory from playing football is being with the team. When asked what he will miss, he said the team bonding on and off the field and Friday nights. He would like to thank his parents, coaches, and teammates for the support they've given him during his time playing football at BCHS.

 

Gage Beasley has played football for six years. He is the son of Stacy and Scotty Beasley of Morgantown. His parents escorted him. Gage's plan after graduation is to go to SKYCTC and pursue a career in industrial maintenance. His favorite memory during football was when Blake stuck Lonnie's helmet in the tractor tire and blamed it on Drew. When asked what he will miss the most, he said the fun times he spent with his teammates. Gage would like to thank his parents, coaches, and teammates for the support they gave him during his time at BCHS. 

 

Blake Tomes has played football for seven years. He was escorted by his parents  Deana and Brandon Tomes. Blake's plan after graduation is to go to the workforce. His favorite memory is sticking Lonnie's helmet in a tractor tire. When asked what he will miss the most, he said the bond this team has. He would like to thank his parents, coaches, and teammates for the support they have given him during his time at BCHS. 

 

Logan Hargrove has played football for ten years. He is the son of Melinda and Brian Hargrove of Oakdale, Louisiana. Logan's plan after graduation is to become a lineman. His favorite memory of playing football is beating Ohio County on his senior night. When asked what he would miss the most, he said playing football with his football family. He would like to thank his parents, coaches, and teammates for the support they have given him during the time he has played football at BCHS.
