BCHS honors Senior Cheerleaders and Basketball Players

#23 Miss MacKenzie Coleman. MacKenzie has played basketball for 10 seasons. She is escorted by her parents, Mac and Stephanie Coleman of Woodbury. After graduation, she plans to attend college to pursue a degree in Agribusiness with a focus in Precision Ag. MacKenzie’s favorite memories would be all the ones she can’t say out loud. She will miss being a part of the Lady Bear family. She loves you all.

 

#5 Miss Carley Jones. Carley has played basketball for one season. She is escorted by her parents, Tanda and Billy Jones of Rochester. After graduation, she plans to attend college to pursue a degree in Forensic Science. Carley has so many good memories, that it was hard to pick just one. She’s glad she had the opportunity to play alongside her friends in a sport they love and that she has grown to love. She’s going to miss the long bus rides with Bailey.

#34 Miss Tobin Maxfield. Tobin has played basketball for 2 seasons. She is being escorted tonight by her parents, Dave and Courtney Maxfield of Rochester. After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Kentucky and major in Civil Engineering with a minor in Communications. Tobin’s favorite memory is going to the mountains last year during Christmas break and on the way back, eating at a Mexican restaurant where Mack put chocolate cake on her face.

 #14 Miss Jenna Phelps. Jenna has played basketball for 10 seasons. She is being escorted tonight by her parents, Gary and Leighann Phelps of Morgantown. After graduation, she plans to attend college to pursue a Bachelors in Nursing. Jenna’s favorite memory is winning District last year on their home court and having a winning season this year. She will miss her teammates and coaches as they are her second family.

Jenna Phelps was also honored for scoring 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 275 assists so far in her career.

 #24 Miss Kennedy Rice. Kennedy has played basketball for 10 seasons. She is being escorted tonight by her parents, Stephen and Stacy Rice of Logansport. After graduation, she plans to attend Western Kentucky University to pursue a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Kennedy’s favorite memories are going to the mountains and winning Districts last year.

Miss Ally Brown. Ally has cheered for 1 year. She is escorted by her parents, Christina and Josh Brown of Morgantown. After graduation, she plans to attend Murray State University and is undecided on her major at this time. Ally says that being in this sport has given her new friendship bonds that she’ll cherish forever and that’s something that she’ll miss. She wouldn’t change this past year for anything.

 Miss Giulia Giuzio. Giulia has cheered for BCHS since January. She is the daughter of Francesco Giuzio and Valeria Piraino from Cosenza, Italy. Her host parents are Josh and Destiny O’Driscoll of Morgantown. She is escorted by her coach, Lennon Johnson. After graduation, she plans to attend college to pursue a career as a Doctor. Giulia is going to miss cheering at games with her team. She always has so much fun with them.

Miss Payton Mallinson. Payton has cheered for 6 years. She is escorted by her parents, Chris and Carri Mallinson of Morgantown. After graduation, she plans on attending SKYCTC and pursuing a career in nursing.

Payton’s favorite memory is going to State. She will miss the bonds that she has made through this sport and getting ready with her best friends before the games.

 Miss Trinity Martin. Trinity has cheered for 7 years. She is being escorted tonight by her parents, Willie Martin and Holly and Randy Pedigo, all of Morgantown. After graduation, she plans to attend SKYCTC and major in Social Psychology to become a Behavioral Therapist. Trinity is going to miss cheering with all the girls this year and all the new friendships she’s gained.

 Miss Jacqueline Rhoades. Jacqueline has cheered for 7 years. She is escorted by her parents, Tony and Lisa Rhoades of Morgantown. After graduation, she plans on attending college and pursuing a career as a Registered Nurse. Jacqueline is going to miss getting ready with her friends before the games.

Miss Loryn Robbins. Loryn has cheered for 3 years. She is escorted  by her parents, Chris and Karrie Robbins of Logansport. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse and specialize in Oncology. Loryn is going to miss competing at State and spending time with the girls.

These seniors would like to thank all of their family, friends, coaches and fans who have supported them through the years and their dedication to the class of 2023.
