BCHS Football Homecoming set for Friday

Rain may have postponed Butler County High School Homecoming festivities last week but it definitely didn't cancel them.  All plans are in place for the annual event, which is set for tomorrow - Friday, September 20. The festivities will begin at approximately 6 p.m. and will result in the crowning of the 2024 BCHS Football Homecoming King and Queen.

"Homecoming is a special time for Butler County.  Our students have certainly brought the energy and spirit for homecoming," said BCHS Principal Stoye Young.  "Between the dress up days, pep rally, and lunchtime games, the students have made some memories during homecoming."

Mr. Young continued, "As my college football coach would say though, 'there wouldn't be homecoming without the game,' so let's get out and support these student-athletes, have some fun, and get a win!   We love having everyone out to support our teams, our cheerleaders, our ROTC, and our BCHS band.  Homecoming is a great time to get the community together!  Go BEARS!"
