BCHS December 2011 Students of the Month

Four Butler County High School students have been recommended by faculty/staff members for December student of the month honors based on attendance, promptness to class, participation in class, grades or attitude.  These students are Matthew Embry, Brittany Bingham, Danny Cowan, and Leslie Pace.

Matthew Embry (pictured above) is the 9th grade son of Mark and Kimberlea Embry.  He participates in the BCHS Band (trumpet player), FCCLA, Science club/Rocket team, the BCHS Cross Country and Tennis teams, Beta club and the Aberdeen Baptist Church Youth Group.  His future plans are to attend college and become a high school Math and Social Studies teacher.



Brittany Bingham is the 10th grade daughter of Mary and Chris Bingham.  She participates in FCCLA and STAR Events.  She also enjoys playing with her nephew and being with friends.  Her future plans are to finish high school and attend college at WKU to become a therapist.


Danny Cowan is the 11th grade son of Gren and JoAnna Cowan.  His participates in the JrROTC and soccer.  His future plans are to become a physical trainer.


Leslie Pace is the 12th grade daughter of Kathy Pace and Stan Pace.  She enjoys photography and reading.  Her future plans are to attend WKU and eventually work for National Geographic as a photographer.
