On Saturday, November 2nd, the Butler County Cross Country team competed in the Regional cross country meet in Bowling Green at Ephram White Park.  Both the boys and girls team will get the chance to run at state at the Horse Park in Lextington.
Senior, Ethan Jenkins, placed first in the Class 2A regional meet with a time of 17:35. This is Ethan’s personal best. Nolan Johnson also placed 5th. The boys’ team placed 3rd overall giving them the opportunity to run at state.

On the girls’ team, Olivia Neighbors led the way placing 6th in the region. Chanda Hampton finished 7th and Delaney Embry finished 8th. The team placed 2nd overall giving them the opportunity to make their second straight appearance at state.

State will be Saturday, November 9th at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. Meet times are at approximately 9:30 and 10:00 EST. Good Luck to both teams. Represent our school well!
