Bears outlast Foundation Christian Academy for first win
BIOWLING GREEN — Notching its first win in the 2023 boys' high school soccer season, visiting Butler County outlasted Foundation Christian Academy 4-3 on Monday, Aug. 14.
After posting the win, Butler County evened its record to 1-1.
Irvin Sanchez scored four goals to lead Butler County to the win.
Aiding Butler County in its victory, Noe Pablo distributed one assist.
Defensively for Butler County, Landon Beatty and Logan Givens split time at goalkeeper. Beatty recorded 20 saves while allowing three goals. Chipping in defensively for the Bears, Logan Givens logged two saves.

Butler County is scheduled to host Russellville for a home opener at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 17.
