BCHS Beta Shines in District Competition

Butler County High School's Beta Club competed in the district competition on Tuesday, April 25. The school's Beta team had several winners across multiple categories, showcasing their academic and leadership skills, as well as their dedication and hard work.

This year's competition was especially meaningful as it was the first Beta competition held since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Butler County High School's Beta Club continued to work hard and persevere.

The team was led by advisors Krista Soulke and Amy Deweese, who have been instrumental in guiding and supporting the students throughout their Beta journey. They were thrilled with the success of the team and praised their dedication and commitment.

The competition consisted of a variety of categories, including academic, visual and performing arts, and leadership. Butler County High School's Beta team excelled in all categories, demonstrating their diverse talents and skills.

The history of the Beta Club demonstrates its enduring legacy and impact on students. Today, it has grown to become the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. It has over 500,000 members in all 50 states and several countries around the world. Butler County High School Beta club retains a consistently large roster, with over 60 students in the 2022-2023 school year.
