BCHS Bears Soccer returns to Regional

The 2017 Butler County High School Boys' Soccer team has secured a return to the 3rd Region Boys' Soccer tournament. The Bears finished the regular season with a record of 9-7 under the direction of head coach Pat O'Driscoll.
The Bears first-round district tournament win by a score of 2-1 over Grayson County, set up a 11th District Championship game against Meade County. The Bears came up short by the score of 2-1 to Meade but secured the runner-up in the district.

The 3rd Region Boys' Soccer tournament begins Monday, October 16th at Ohio County High School. The Bears (10-8) will play a first-round game against the Muhlenberg County Mustangs. Game time is a 5:30 pm.
This is the Bears first regional tournament appearance since 2005. The Bears previous regional trips were in 2003, 2004, and 2005. O'Driscoll coached the 2004 and 2005 teams.
The 2003 Soccer team holds the school’s best record of (15-6), under the direction of head coach Michael Baker.
