BCHS Bears Football Team Prepare for 2016 Season

The BCHS Bears Football team left for Camp Loucon in Grayson County on Monday, August 1st and returned on Friday, August 5th.

The team was accompanied by Head Coach Ryan Emmick and all of the assistant coaching staff.  Each day of camp was broken into offensive, defensive, and special team’s practices.  However, KHSAA has strict guidelines on the number of practices and the total number of hours to be practiced, leaving the team the opportunity to have lots of downtimes as well.

When not practicing, the team spent their time rehydrating, refueling, fishing, and resting in their cabins.  The time together this week was not only about practicing; it was the opportunity to build a strong foundation of family and brotherhood amongst the teammates.

BCHS Bears Football wants to thank the school district, parents, guardians, quarterback club, and the boosters for making this trip to camp possible for all teammates.  Come out and show support for our players this Friday night, August 12th, for a home scrimmage against Caldwell County.  The opening game of the season will be at Logan County on August 19th at 7:00 pm.
