BCHS, BCMS come together to help BC Cancer Assistance

The faculty and staff of BCMS brought home the trophies. Pictured above are Cody Donaldson, Principal Robert Tuck, Assistant Principal Tim Freeman, and Ryan Emmick posing with the hardware.

On Thursday, March 7, the faculties and staffs of Butler County High School and Butler County Middle School squared off on the court. The game was organized as a fundraiser for Butler County Cancer Assistance. Both sides put on a great show for a large number of fans, but Butler County Middle School held on to win, taking home the trophy.

"Butler County is the real winner here tonight by raising over $4,000 for cancer assistance," said Richie Bratcher, chairman of Butler County Cancer Assistance. "We plan on making this an annual event and hope it just gets bigger and better. We're already making plans for next year by inviting the Butler County Band and working with  WLBQ 1570 AM to broadcast the game live.”
