BCHS Basketball hosts annual camp

It was camp time at Butler County High School as Coach Calvin Dockery and the boys' basketball team held its annual skills camp.  About 30 campers in grades 4-8 took part last week (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.); on Monday and Tuesday of this week, approximately 20 campers in graders preschool through third grade took part (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.) - combining for over 50 participants during the four-day camp.

"I would like to thank everyone that participated - coaches, players, campers, and parents. This camp is a huge part of developing our program and continuing to build "culture of success" that sets high expectations for student-athletes," said Coach Dockery.  "We are consistently looking for people that want to play roles in our program. Butler County has supported this team and we appreciate it greatly and want to continue to put a team on the floor that this county can be proud of for years to come. Thanks to Beech Tree News for continued support as well."
