BCHS Baseball: Butler County drops game to Daviess County

MORGANTOWN - Butler County was limited at the plate as visiting Daviess County prevailed 5-3 in a high school baseball game on Monday, April 12. 
Daviess County outhit the Bears 8-3. The Panthers overcame three errors to claim the win.
Jackson Loucks started on the mound for the Panthers and earned the win. Loucks surrendered two runs on two hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out four.
Ross West started on the mound for the Bears and suffered the loss. West pitched two and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out two. 
Will Embry and Eli Lewis each pitched out of relief roles for Butler County, throwing two and a third innings and two innings, respectively.
Lyton Huskisson and Decker Renfrow each collected multiple hits for Daviess County.

West paced Butler County at the plate, connecting for two hits and driving in one run. 
Hunter McKee and Leevi McMillin provided one hit apiece for the Bears. 
Aiding Butler County offensively, Jackson McCrady and Carter Graham drove in one run apiece. 
The Bears committed four errors in the setback.
