BCHS 2  Barren 9

Butler County Bears Varsity fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-2 loss to Barren County. Barren County scored on a double by Combs in the first inning and a error during Hyatt's at bat in the second inning.
The Bears Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Barren County, giving up nine runs.
Warren Cameron took the loss for Butler County. He surrendered six runs on three hits over two innings, striking out three.

Butler County smacked one home run on the day. Carter Graham had a four bagger in the fifth inning.
Graham went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Butler County in hits.
 

 

BCHS - 0  Franklin Simpson - 10

Butler County struggled to get their offense going on Monday.

A single by Hunter McKee in the first inning was a positive for Butler County.

Eli Lewis took the loss for The Bears. He surrendered ten runs on seven hits over four and a third innings, striking out three and walking one.

Butler County racked up six hits on the day. Landon Cardwell and McKee each collected multiple hits. McKee and Cardwell each collected two hits to lead Butler County.

 

BCHS - 2  Greenwood - 7

Greenwood fired up the offense in the first inning, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the first inning, Butler County tied things up at one when an error scored one run.

After Greenwood scored one run in the top of the seventh, Butler County answered with one of their own. Greenwood scored when an error scored one run for Greenwood.

Greenwood pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning.

Kolton Hudson took the loss for Butler County. He lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and six runs while striking out three and walking zero.

Chance Castlen and Carter Graham all had one hit to lead The Bears.

 

BCHS 0   Logan 19

Butler County watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 19-0 loss to Logan County. 

The Bears struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Logan County, giving up 19 runs.

Logan County fired up the offense in the first inning, when an error scored two runs for Logan County.

One bright spot for Butler County was a single by Carter Graham in the first inning.

Warren Cameron took the loss for Butler County. He went two-thirds of an inning, allowing six runs on two hits and striking out two.

Graham led Butler County Bears Varsity with one hit in two at bats.

 

BCHS - 0  North Hardin - 10

Butler County fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 10-0 loss to North Hardin. North Hardin took the lead on a home run in the first inning.

The Bears struggled to contain the high-powered offense of North Hardin, giving up ten runs.

A single by Hunter McKee in the first inning was a positive for Butler County.

Warren Cameron took the loss for Butler County. He allowed six hits and eight runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out eight.

McKee went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Butler County in hits.

 

McKee Collects Four Hits As Butler County Bears Varsity Defeats John Hardin

Hunter McKee had the hot hand on Tuesday, tallying four hits and leading Butler County to a 25-2 victory over John Hardin. McKee singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the fourth, and singled in the fourth.

The Bears secured the victory thanks to 18 runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught came from walks by Chance Castlen, McKee, Warren Cameron, Carter Graham, and Landon Cardwell, singles by Kolton Hudson, Jordan McCrady, Jake McKee, Castlen, and McCrady, an error on a ball put in play by McKee and Leevi McMillin, a triple by Cameron, by Duane Daniel, and by Graham.

Butler County got things started in the first inning when McKee singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

The Bears notched 18 runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught was led by Cameron, Hudson, Castlen, McCrady, Graham, andMcKee, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

McKee earned the victory on the hill for Butler County. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one. Hudson and McKee entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Butler County collected 12 hits. McKee and McCrady each had multiple hits. McKee led The Bears with four hits in four at bats. Butler County was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Cardwell made the most plays with four.

 

Grayson County Nearly Erases 6-Run Deficit In Loss To Butler County Bears Varsity

Butler County got out to a six-run lead in the fifth inning and held on for a 10-8 victory over Grayson County. Grayson County scored four runs in the failed comeback.

The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game. The Bears collected seven hits and Grayson County had nine.

Butler County got things moving in the first inning, when Leevi McMillin singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

The Bears tallied three runs in the third inning. Butler County's offense in the inning came from a single by Chance Castlen and an error on a ball put in play by Duane Daniel.

Kolton Hudson led the Butler County to victory on the pitcher's mound. He surrendered eight runs on eight hits over five innings, walking zero. Landon Cardwell threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

McMillin led Butler County with two hits in three at bats.

Butler County Bears Varsity Clinches Lead In Fourth Inning For Victory Over Washington County

Butler County stole the lead late in the game in a 12-2 victory over Washington County. The game was tied at one with The Bears batting in the top of the fourth when Hunter McKee doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

McKee collected four hits in four at bats to help lead Butler County to victory. McKee singled in the first, singled in the third, doubled in the fourth, and singled in the fifth.

Butler County pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Duane Daniel homered on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

The Bears tallied four runs in the sixth inning. The offensive firepower by Butler County Bears Varsity was led by Chance Castlen, Carter Graham, and Daniel, who all drove in runs.

McKee earned the victory on the hill for Butler County. He went six innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out 12.

Butler County smacked one home run on the day. Daniel had a dinger in the fourth inning.

The Bears racked up ten hits. McKee, Graham, and Castlen all managed multiple hits. McKee led Butler County with four hits in four at bats.

Despite Strong Fight, Butler County Bears Varsity Can't Top Casey County

Butler County fought back after falling down by seven runs in the fourth inning. The comeback fell just short though, in an 8-6 defeat to Casey County. The Bears scored four runs on a single by Hunter McKee in the fifth, a double by Warren Cameron in the fifth, and a double by Cameron in the seventh.

Butler County tallied three runs in the seventh inning. The Bears scored its runs on an RBI double by Cameron.

Butler County tallied nine hits. Cameron and McKee all managed multiple hits. McKee and Cameron all had three hits to lead Butler County.

 

Butler County Bears Varsity Nabs Win Over Hancock County Despite Early 7-Run Inning

Butler County managed through a push by Hancock County in the fourth inning where The Bears coughed up seven runs, but still won 10-9 on Friday.

Butler County collected 11 hits and Hancock County had eight in the high-scoring affair.

The Bears got on the board in the second inning. Kolton Hudson drove in one when he singled.

Butler County pulled away for good with nine runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Duane Daniel doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run, Hudson singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, Chance Castlen laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run, Landon Cardwellsingled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, Warren Cameron singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs, Daniel singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs for Butler County.

Daniel earned the win for Butler County. He lasted two innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out three. Cardwell threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Cardwell recorded the last four outs to earn the save.

Cameron started the game for Butler County. He lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing three hits and seven runs while striking out four.

Butler County collected 11 hits. Hudson, Cardwell, Leevi McMillin, Daniel, and Cameron all had multiple hits. Hudson went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Butler County in hits.

 

Butler County Bears Varsity Takes The Game Over John Hardin In A Blow-Out Victory, 12-5

Butler County easily dispatched John Hardin 12-5.

In the first inning, The Bears got their offense started when Duane Daniel was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Kolton Hudson led the Butler County to victory on the pitcher's mound. He lasted six innings, allowing 12 hits and five runs while striking out three and walking one. Zack Smith threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Smith recorded the last three outs to earn the save for The Bears.

Butler County had 14 hits in the game. Carter Graham, Hunter McKee, and Hudson all collected multiple hits. Graham went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Butler County in hits.
