BCHS Band Show and Auction

On Monday May 6, beginning at 6PM the Butler County High School Band held a concert and senior exhibition. This event also contained an auction that was intended to raise money for the band to use for expenses and instruments for next years mass of incoming band students. The auction was conducted by professional auctioneer Bruce White and contained floral table sets, a case of Mountain Dew with a gift card and a hand-made quilt, which sold for $550.

Student teacher Josh Smith also conducted an arrangement. Senior performances included Austin VonAxelson on the saxophone and Hollie Coleman on the flute.

Jason Ausbrooks was very happy with the results of the auction and the concert. He extends a thank you to all who supported the band by coming to the show and to those who participated in the auction.
