BCHS Band Honors 24 Seniors
Rain did not stop the music yesterday as The Boyce Flener Marching Invitational was moved inside to the gym at Butler County High School. Twenty-four seniors were honored. Congratulations to the Class of 2017!!!!!
The band competed at Ohio County on Saturday night and won the following: best color guard, best percussion, and first place in their class.

Favorite Band Memory: Singing on the band bus or trumpet stretches with my favorite people

Words of advice for the underclassmen: Enjoy every moment and always remember to play each note to the full length

Words of advice for the underclassmen: There’s a 100% chance that Mr. Ausbrooks is going to fall sometime this year so be there to catch him.

Favorite Band Memory: Is just performing in general. The adrenaline you get is unreal.
Plans: Go the Murray State University and become a nurse practitioner and work in the NICU.
Words of advice for the underclassmen: Stay in the band. It is all worth it in the end. It is a lot of hard work and dedication but, you will form bonds and memories that will last a lifetime. Your band family will always be your best friends. When you hear your cadence, you will know your home.
