BC students participate in National Day of Giving

The first Tuesday after Thanksgiving is known as the National Day of Giving and Butler County students were able to be a small part of that initiative. Gifted and talented students ranging from 4th through 12th grade volunteered at businesses, schools, and other local establishments. Leslie Wood, the gifted and talented teacher for Butler County said, “the community and schools give so much to our students we wanted an opportunity to give just a little back in return to say thank you.” The day went well and they are hoping to make it an annual event.
