BC Students attend model state government event

Students from Butler County High School attended the KYA conference in Louisville and Frankfort November 18th-20th. The following students participated: Kobe Annis, Bodie Hammer, Nate Henderson, Annie Locke, Camryn Newland, Mac Hampton, Bailey Collins, Samantha Henderson, and Tyler Lynch.

This is a model state government put on by the Kentucky YMCA for the past 72 years. It is the largest youth government program in the nation. This is the second year Butler County has attended and they have recently affiliated and created a student "Y" chapter in Butler County.

Leslie Wood, gifted and talented teacher for the district, coordinated this program.
