BC Sheriff's Office investigates stolen barn wood and accidents.

The Butler County Sheriff’s office has been busy.  Fifty-of feet of barn wood was stolen from Kurt McClelland of 4337 Grancer Road.  Deputy Heath West is the investigating officer.  The wood was taken sometime between November 23 and 26th.  If you have any information concerning this theft contact the sheriff’s office at 270 526-3676.
Deputy West also worked a two vehicle accident on December 2nd, at 9:00am on Highway 185 (Reedyville Road).  Andrea S. Holland, 21, of Bowling Green, slowed to avoid hitting a dog and was rear ended by Dylan Sheperd, 28 of Gary Ridge Road, Morgantown    Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.  No injuries were reported.
Deputy Joe Alford worked an accident on Caneyville Road on December 2nd. Around 5:47pm, Karen Staples, 53, of Caneyville Road,  hit a deer.  Staples and her three passengers were not injured and were wearing their seatbelts.
On December 3rd at 7:25am Deputy West worked a two vehicle collision at the intersection of US 231 and Highway 79 North.  Jacob Adkins, 16, of Dexterville- Gilstrap Road and Rebecca Vincent, 28, of Carson Bridge Road, collided at the intersection.  Vincent’s children were also in her vehicle.  No injuries were reported.  Everyone involved were wearing seatbelts. Deputy West worked the accident.
