BC Farm Bureau's Saturday in the Park

Butler County Farm Bureau President Betty Farris threw out the first pitch.

On Saturday, July 6th,  approximately 40 members and families of Butler County Farm Bureau journeyed to Bowling Green Ballpark for the Bowling Green Hot Rods game vs. the Lansing Lugnuts.  It was Farm Bureau night. Butler County Farm Bureau President Betty Farris threw out the first pitch.  In the midst of the game, Greg Drake was showcased on the big screen as he sang a rendition of the Garth Brooks classic “Friends In Low Places.”

By all accounts, everyone who attended had a great time. The Hot Rods were victorious 1-0.  Those who stuck around until the end of the game were treated to a fantastic fireworks display.

"I found out why you didn’t want to be seated close to the fireworks, as I got a little residue on me.  No harm done," said Andy Sullivan.  "It was a great night of food, fellowship and fun!"
