Did you know that Kentucky has the highest incidence of cancer and the highest number of cancer deaths in the country?  Smoking plays a huge role in this number.  According to the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky, smoking causes 34 percent of all cancer cases in Kentucky.  Also, 4,830 new cases of lung cancer related to smoking are diagnosed every year in the state.
