BC Bassmasters @ Lake Beshear

Robert Parker and Matt Embry taking 1st place with 19.43 lbs

Butler County Bassmasters held their second open tournament for the 2017 season at Lake Beshear Saturday April the 15th. It was a beautiful day to be on the water.  Lake Beshear usually has some of the biggest stringers of fish weighed in the entire year, and it didn’t disappoint. The lake conditions were good with 59 fish being brought to the weigh scale for a total weight of 167.64 pounds for the tournament. 22 boats participated in the tournament with Robert Parker and Matt Embry taking 1st place with 19.43 lbs., and 2nd John Jackson and Jeremy Priddy 17.89 lbs.

3rd Danny Cardwell and Chris Phelps 16.69 lbs.,

4th RJ Anderson and Ron Anderson 16.21 lbs. 

Big bass of the tournament went to Mike Gary with a huge 7.29 lb largemouth.  The next BCB event will be a regular season tournament at Barren River Lake at the Port Oliver Ramp, Saturday April the 29th. Tournament starts at 6:30 AM with weigh-in at 2:30 PM. Entry fee will be $40.00/boat. Come on out for a great day of fishing.
