Butler County's Zeke Woodcock has a signed a letter-of-intent to play basketball at Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.  The signing ceremony was held last Friday, June 9, at the BCHS Athletic Fieldhouse.  Woodcock's signing comes off a stellar career with Butler County.  As a senior, he averaged 18 points per game and 10 rebounds.  Woodcock has been a key part of several historic moments over the past couple of seasons, which include back-to-back district titles, an All A regional title, a trip to the Touchtone Energy All A State Tournament, back-to back winning-seasons, and three straight trips to the Third Region Tournament.

"Zeke had a tremendous season.  His leadership this year was wonderful to watch," said BCHS Head Coach Calvin Dockery.

Coach Dockery predicts future success for Woodcock in the college ranks.

"Zeke is a team-first guy and he will have a tremendous  career at Thomas More.  This is a great opportunity for Zeke and I know he is ready for this next step in his development not only as a basketball player, but as a person," said  Dockery.  "Zeke will be greatly missed, but he has played a tremendous part in helping us develop a 'culture of success' in the Butler County Basketball program.  I look forward to watching him continue his playing career.  His parents have been important supporters of the program and, of course, Zeke and I know they look forward to continuing to watch him play as well."

Thomas More College is a liberal arts college located in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, United States. Located just ten minutes from Cincinnati, Ohio, the Roman Catholic school serves 1,900 full and part-time students.
