The Butler County Bears basketball team was back in action at Hopkins County Central last week with the varsity squad taking on St Mary’s and Union County. Meanwhile, the Bears JV played 2 games, as well, against Logan County and Madisonville-North Hopkins. 

“It was a great day of basketball with a very young group. Our defense is improving daily and we are learning each other as a team,” said BCHS Head Coach Dustin Barnett.  

The Bears are back in action at Apollo on Tuesday, June 16, with more varsity and JV games, as well as a freshman game.
