We’ve been proud of the way our guys have competed so far this season. They’ve shown resilience, continued to grow each game, and have done a good job of staying together through both the highs and the challenges," said BCHS head baseball coach Bo West.   "We’re starting to see improvement in our approach at the plate and overall execution, which is something we’ve emphasized from day one."

Coach West is optimistic as the season enters its final stretch.

"As we move forward, our focus is on consistency, playing clean baseball, competing every pitch, and continuing to develop as a team. We believe this group has a lot of potential, and we’re excited to see how they finish the season if they stay committed to the process," said West.

"This season has been filled with several games and very little rainouts. Some may call our team the "7th inning team", "The cardiac Bears" or "The comeback kids" regardless of what the softball world calls this team, I call them dedicated, gutsy, gritty and determined," said BCHS head softball coach Amy Rogers.  "This team never gives up and it shows!"

Looking ahead to the remainer of the season, the coach feels good about where her team is now.

"Starting out the season a little rocky, this team has never given up and fought to the end in several of our games this season. We finish out the season with some tough competition as well with Ohio County twice, Warren East, Todd County and Daviess. Then on to district tournament. These girls are a fun team to coach, watch and cheer for. Make sure you come support them May 18th through the 21st as we host the district tournament," said Rogers.
