Barren River releases vaccination stats

The Barren River District Health Department has released COVID-19 vaccination data relating to the percentages of individuals in area counties, including Butler, who have been vaccinated for the virus.

According to a press relase from the department, "data shows that the COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective against severe illness caused by COVID-19."

While many people in the Barren River District have been vaccinated, a majority of the population remains unvaccinated. Public health officials are still urging members of their communities to get vaccinated as soon as possible in order to protect themselves and those at high-risk of serious illness from COVID-19.
