Barracudas Celebrates 25 Years of Swimming

Coach Josh Henderson

The Morgantown-Butler County Swim Team is celebrating their 25th year anniversary this season. The Barracudas kicked off their season with their annual Relay Meet that was held on June 13th. The relay meet was started several years ago by the team as a way to bring the teams in the league together to kick off the season in a fun way. After the meet to celebrate their 25 years of swimming MBCST gave out cupcakes.

Swimming has came full circle for some families. Some of the original swimmers that were on the first MBCST team now have their own swimmers on the team. (Adra Skaggs has both of her daughters on the team Raeliegh and Ann Marie; Chasity Moore's son Maddox; Wendy Swift's daughter Alyssa; and Natalie Hughes-Park's daughter Sabria). The team is coached by one of the original members - Josh Henderson.
