Balanced Bears top Ohio County, 44-34

HARTFORD - Visiting Butler County used a balanced offensive attack to beat longtime rival Ohio County 44-34 in Week 8 of the 2020 high school football season on Friday, Oct. 30.
The victory allowed Butler County to halt a five-game losing skid.
With the win, Butler County improved to 2-5,
Ohio County dropped to 1-6 with the loss. 
Quarterback Jagger Henderson led Butler County through the air, completing 8-of-16 passes for 138 yards and four touchdowns. Henderson threw one interception in the late-regular-season matchup.
Solomon Flener, Luke Laughing, Jordan Todd, and Josh Morris hauled in one touchdown pass reception apiece for the Bears.
Butler County rushed 39 times for 266 yards and three touchdowns in the winning effort. Todd paced Butler County on the ground, rushing 12 times for 248 yards and two touchdowns.
Ranking second in rushing for the Bears, Colton Dunnells rushed 17 times for 102 yards and one touchdown. 
Chipping in on the ground for Butler County, Henderson rushed four times for 17 yards. 
Landon Binion paced Butler County defensively, registering 10 tackles and three tackles for losses. 
Providing a boost from his position in the secondary, Zack Silcox recorded an interception for the Bears. 
Productive Butler County notched its first win since edging Hart County 34-32 in a season opener on September 11. 
Butler County is scheduled to visit Webster County for a regular-season finale on Friday, Nov. 6
