Attempted traffic stop on 100 mph vehicle leads to arrest

An attempted traffic stop on a vehicle traveling over 100 miles per hour has resulted in the arrest of an Owensboro man.
The vehicle was observed by a state trooper on I-165 near the 7-mile marker. According to the police citation, the vehicle was heading north. The trooper attempted a traffic stop but the vehicle continued and soon crashed after failing to navigate a left turn at the end of Exit 26 in Butler County, according to Morgantown City Police.
Corey Nunn, age 50 of Owensboro, was the operator of the vehicle. He was arrested and transported to the Butler County Jail. Nunn is facing multiple charges involving excessive speeding, fleeing/evading police, reckless driving, wanton endangerment, and criminal mischief.
