Known as the Southcentral Kentucky Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education, or SKY FAME, the program is a partnership of regional manufacturers and SKYCTC that has the goal of offering students a "work-and-learn style" training that couples on the job training with classroom instruction.

The program first began almost six years ago in Georgetown, Kentucky with Bluegrass Community and Technical College and Toyota, and has since expanded to include south central Kentucky. There are industries participating from Simpson, Allen, Warren, Butler and Logan counties in the program. All companies interviewed the students before accepting them into the program.
