Arrests made on the Green River

Emergency personnel responded to what they believed to be a domestic disturbance on the Green River Sunday night.  Upon further investigation, two people were arrested and lodged in the Butler County Jail. 

Michael White, 47 of Morgantown was charged with possession of prescription controlled substance not in original container, possession of controlled substance - 1st degree- 1st offense, and operating a boat/watercraft under the influence. 

Kimberly White, 45, of Morgantown, was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place. The boat ran up on the north side bank of the Green River at the Morgantown Boat Ramp. 
Responding to the scene were: Butler County Sheriff Deputy ChrisReneer, Morgantown Police Officer Bobbie Hooten, Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Officer Ethan Vincent, and Sgt. Scott McIntosh, Butler County Rescue Squad, and Butler County EMS.
