Arrests made for fleeing and evading, wanton endangerment

On November 19th, Morgantown Police Department Officer Ronald Cox observed an individual with an active warrant driving on Rochester Road/KY 70.  When Officer Cox attempted to stop the vehicle, the individual failed to stop, leading to a short vehicle pursuit before the suspect stopped and fled on foot. 

Brian Beesley, age 31, of Butler County, was arrested and charged with Fleeing or Evading Police-1st Degree (Motor Vehicle), Fleeing or Evading Police - 2nd Degree (On Foot), Wanton Endangerment- 1st Degree - Police Officer x2, and Operating on  Suspended or Revoked Operators License. Beesley was also served on his arrest warrant. The passenger of the vehicle, Savara Beesley, age 22, of Butler County, was charged with Possession of Marijuana.  

Assisting on scene were Butler County Sheriff’s Deputies Trey Flener and Talon Gary. 

 

Brian Beesley was lodged in the Butler County Jail.
