Arrest Made in Butler County Arson Case

Morgantown, KY (August 17, 2016) The Kentucky State Police Post 3 has arrested a Bowling Green man in connection to a fire that occurred in Butler County on August 2, 2016.

Thirty-five year old Bobby A. Simmons of Bowling Green was arrested and charged with Arson 2nd Degree and was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail where he is awaiting transport to the Butler County Jail.

The residence of Simmons' estranged girlfriend, Lori Brabham, located at 909 Lock Five Road in Butler County was heavily damaged by the fire.
 
The investigation is still ongoing and being led by KSP Arson Investigator Terry Scott.  He was assisted by the Bowling Green/ ATF Arson Task Force, Butler County 4th District and Bear Creek Fire Department.
