Allison Ramsey graduates from Cumberlands

Allison teaches third grade in Muhlenberg County.

In August 2013, University of the Cumberlands (UC)conferred 263 degrees during their annual commencement ceremony; 30 Baccalaureate degrees, 228 Master’s degrees, and five Doctorate degrees.

Allison Ramsey (Rochester, Ky.) graduated with a Master’s Degree in Education - Reading and Writing Specialist. She is the daughter of Reggie and Gwen Ramsey.

In 2013, almost 800 students have received their degrees from UC thus far with December grads still in the mix.

The fall semester began on August 28th with record breaking enrollment of 5,000 expected by the semester’s end as enrollment continues for graduate and online classes.

Located in Williamsburg, Ky., University of the Cumberlands is an institution of regional distinction, which currently offers four undergraduate degrees more than 40 major fields of study; ten pre-professional programs; ten graduate degrees distributed over eight areas, including two doctorates and seven master’s degrees; certifications in education; and online programs.
