Alex Bonilla graduated from Butler Co. High School in 2012.  He now attends Sullivan College Tech and Design in Louisville, Kentucky, working on his Associates Degree in HVAC-R.   While in high school he stayed involved in SkillsUSA through the schools HVAC program headed by Brian Eadens.  In June of 2011, Alex attended Nationals in Kansas City were he placed 19th out of 40.  Alex recently competed on the college level in Louisville and was able to win 1st place in Job Skills demo and also a 1st place win in HVAC-R.  He will now attend Nationals once again in Kansas this June.  He has been informed that he will only be able to compete in one of the competitions since they overlap each other.  He has decided to compete in the HVAC-R competition in hopes that it will further his career.  His family is very proud of him and wish him much success.
