Sunday, we stopped at McDonald’s after church.  As we were walking in, two vans pulled in with about 10-12 US Army soldiers.  A woman going through the drive-thru saw them come in and proceeded to buy all of their lunches.  Several of the soldiers went out to thank her and then take the change to her.  I asked one of them and he said they were from Corbin and were on their way back.  Her kindness was obviously appreciated by the men.  I didn’t recognize the lady but I want to take this opportunity to recognize her selfless act and say thanks to her.  I want to express thanks to all of our military as well for their daily selfless acts to keep us free.  This certainly was a humbling experience for me.  I just wanted to share this heartwarming example especially at this time of the year!
