Aberdeen site of Farmers' Market Fall Festival

Things were buzzing in Aberdeen on Saturday, October 17, as the 1st Annual Farmers' Market Fall Festival took place. Over 30 vendors set up to sell their goods. Many vendors are regular Farmer's Market participants, while several made their first appearance.

Kelsey Hood Lee organized the event.

"With Harvest on the Square canceled, I wanted something for the children. COVID has taken away so much, and winter is coming, so we wanted to provide some fun activities," said Lee.

There were plenty of games for children. According to Lee, all the stuff for the games was donated by local individuals and businesses.

Children's games included a cakewalk, pumpkin decorating, spin the wheel, and donut bobbing.

"What an amazing day at the Farmer's Market Fall Festival. A big thank you to Kelsey Lee, Mark Hood, and Katie Flener for putting on the event. Thank you to everyone who came out to support all the small businesses and entrepreneurs, " said Ryan Emmick, Farmers' Market President.
