On Tuesday, September 10, the 86th annual Farm Bureau Annual Membership Meeting was held at the James Davis Venue in Morgantown, KY. President Gregory Drake II's warm welcome and Vice President Woody Moore's invocation set the tone for the evening, which was followed by a meal provided by Green River Catering.  

 After the meal, the awards presentation began.

Caleb Smithson was honored to present the Outstanding Young Farm Family award to Cody and Savannah Cardwell.

Agency Manager Bobby Smith presented Debi Phelps with the Distinguished Service to Butler County Farm Bureau award. 

 Butler County Farm Bureau's Shane Wells presented Denny Drake with the Distinguished Service to Butler County Agriculture award.

Gregory Drake II presented the 2024 Legacy Farm Award to Sam Moore Farms. 

 Scholarship awards were presented to Madison Clark and Layton Phelps, who could not attend due to school.

Special guests included: District 3 Farm Bureau Directors Ray Allan Mackie, Mitchell Logsdon, and Warren Beeler, Kentucky Department of Agriculture, who were also in attendance.  Kentucky Senator Steve Meredith, Butler County Judge Tim Flener, and Magistrate Dillon Bryant attended.  Suzanne Miles of Brett Guthrie's Kentucky office was also in attendance.  

Following the business session and door prizes, the meeting adjourned
