The theme of the event, which was organized by Gina Tynes, was Wake Up America.

"We come here today with diverse backgrounds and religions," Tynes said. "Yet, we come united in the belief Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior recognizing the need to join together in prayer requesting God to heal and restore our nation."
