5K Bear Run/Walk

 

Despite unruly weather 85 individuals came out on Saturday April 22nd to support the Butler County Project Prom 2017 by competing in the 5K Bear Run. Money raised from this event goes to help fund Project Prom.  This year’s race rose a little over $1200.

Project Prom is a lock in for students to attend after prom that provides a fun, entertaining, and safe night for students after the dance is over  Several items are given away on this night, games played, and food supplied to the students.  Not only were runners and walkers able to compete they were also able to fellowship with one another after the race.  Awards were given to various categories in the Butler County Middle School gymnasium after the race.
