4-H Shooting Sports Volunteer Certification Workshop

Our kids need you!  Our youth need you to have the opportunity to participate in 4-H Shooting Sports - archery, rifle, shotgun, and more. 4-H Shooting Sports offers an awesome opportunity for our young people to learn, experience and compete. But, we need coaches.  We are limited by our supply of committed, caring coaches that participate in the program - we need you.

Please consider becoming one of our certified leaders, coaches, and coordinators.  There are several positions to become certified in, with something for every skill and interest level.

The 2019 4-H Shooting Sports Volunteer Certification Workshop is scheduled for March 1-3, at the Lake Cumberland 4-H Education Center in Jabez, KY.

The registration deadline is February 13th.  Registration is limited to a first come, first served.  All 4-H Shooting Sports Club leaders must be certified to lead these clubs.  Workshops include:  Coordinator, 22 Rifle/Air Rifle, 22 Pistol/Air Pistol, Black Powder, Shotgun, Archery, and Hunter Challenge.  All volunteers must have submitted (and have back) a background check prior to attending.

Call the Extension Office today to become a certified 4-H Shooting Sports coach!
