4-H Rabbit-Ears Add to Ribbon Collection at KY State Fair.

Sitting left to right: Mary Hunter, Paul Brunk, and Pamela Moore. Standing: Amber Hudson, Olivia Dunn, Haley West, and 4-H Rabbit Leader - Angela Smith

On Wednesday, August 14th, the Butler County 4-H Rabbit-Ears left going to the KY State Fair.  We had 50 rabbits entered in 2 days of competition.  On Thursday, we competed in the ARBA Open Show where we won 47 ribbons.  On Friday, we competed in the State 4-H Rabbit Show, where we won 29 ribbons.
The Rabbit-Ears brought home a total of 76 ribbons from the Kentucky State Fair.  We now have an awesome opportunity to represent the state of Kentucky at the ARBA National Competition in Harrisburg, PA on October 17-23.

The Rabbit-Ears has a team of 5 members that will be TEAM KENTUCKY at this convention.  TEAM KENTUCKY members are:  Amber Hudson, Haley West, Olivia Dunn, Pamela Moore and Madison Parrish.  This is an awesome opportunity to be able to represent the state of Kentucky as well as Butler County.  We also have 3 club members competing individually - Paul Brunk, Mary Hunter, and Kiersten Foit.  We want to wish EVERYONE going safe travels and good luck in the competition!!!

We are currently accepting donations to help us to get to Nationals.  We have many expenses to cover including competition fees and costs for required competition wear, hotel expenses, and travel expenses just to name a few.  Remember all 4-H donations are tax deductable, so please help us reach our destination!  Thanks so much to everyone who has made this possible.
