4-H Programs and Camp

4-H Shooting Sports Program Is Underway

What is the 4-H Shooting Sports Program?  The 4-H Shooting Sports Program trains youth (ages 9-18) to handle and shoot firearms safely. It teaches leadership and responsibility in a non-formal environment while offering fun activities for youth and adults. While competition is not the main focus, the program does offer opportunities to participate in shooting events, competing in various disciplines and age groups.  Our volunteer leaders are certified in the discipline(s) they coach, and parents are encouraged to attend practices.

The Butler County 4-H Shooting Sports Program has started practicing Archery and Shotgun, with more to follow later.

For more information on becoming a club member or learning about upcoming practices, contact the Butler County Extension Office at 112 E GL Smith Street, Morgantown or call 526-3767.
