22nd Annual Butler County FFA Toy Tractor Show

Les and Sue Horst of H&M Farm Toys 00

On Saturday, March 10th, the 22nd annual Toy Tractor Show was held at Butler County High School.  The idea for the show originated in 1996 with Ryan Pendley and a group of FFA officers.  Ryan is currently the Alumni Chair and still very involved with the growth of the fundraiser.

The show is presently sponsored by vendors from three different states and the FFA alumni. FFA director Lee Ann Daugherty commented “we are very dependent on our alumni, without their help and support none of this would be possible.”

“All of the farmers in the Toy Tractor business are like one big family. We love being able to come here; see all of our friends and support the FFA in any way we can. This show has grown so much since we first came here and it continues to grow every year.” Said Sue Horst who has attended 20 of the 22 shows in Morgantown with husband Les. “The kids were so helpful when we arrived; we never had to unload anything by ourselves and everyone is just as nice as can be.”
The Annual Toy Tractor Show is always the second Saturday in March and appeals to people of all ages and interests. They hope to get everyone involved by offering door prizes every thirty minutes and the opportunity to enter different competitions.
