Butler County High School held Bearfest on Friday night between the district doubleheader with Whitesville Trinity.  Gage Bealsey and Taylor Leach were crowned King and Queen of Homecoming. Taylor is the daughter of Tina and Todd Leach of Morgantown. Gage is the son of Scotty and Stacey Beasley, also of Morgantown.

Representing the Freshmen Class:

Ms. Ava Wilson and Mr. Konnor Hudson. Ava is the daughter of Katie and Jordan Wilson of Morgantown. Konnor is the son of Dewayne and Brittiany Hudson, also of Morgantown.

Ms. Jenna Brooks and Mr. Cainan Vincent. Jenna is the daughter of Jenel Barks and Michael Brooks, both of Morgantown. Cainan is the son of Travis and Becky Vincent, also of Morgantown.

Representing the Sophomore Class:

Ms. Brooklyn Blankenship and Mr. Curtis Murphy. Brooklyn is the daughter of Amanda and Danny Woolbright of Bowling Green. Curtis is the son of Marty and Lora Murphy of Morgantown.

Ms. Miley Franzell and Mr. Jett Johnson. Miley is the daughter of Chris Franzell and Joy Franzell, both of Morgantown. Jett is the son of Dan and Michaelle Johnson, also of Morgantown.

Ms. Carlie West and Mr. Brock Pfingston. Carlie is the daughter of Richard and Dawn West of Morgantown. Brock is the son of Sheri and Adam Carroll also of Morgantown and Robert Pfingston of Evansville, Indiana.

Ms. Maggie Childers and Mr. Justin Castlen. Maggie is the daughter of Andrea and Jaman Childers of Morgantown. Justin is the son of Richard and Joanna Castlen, also of Morgantown.

Ms. Addison Miller and Mr. Jacky Qiu. Addison is the daughter of Jesse and Megan Miller of Logansport. Jacky is the son of Angela and Andy Qiu, of Morgantown.

Ms. Breanna Howard and Mr. Weston Annis. Breanna is the daughter of Shawn and LaTisha Howard of Morgantown. Weston is the son of Donna Annis, also of Morgantown and Ben Annis of Logansport.

Ms. Bryleigh Jones. Escorting her tonight is Mr. Jay Peralta.Bryleigh is the daughter of Jerry and Christie Hurt of Morgantown. Jay is the son of Ann and Jack Coffman, also of Morgantown.

Ryan Jane is the 4 year old daughter of Noel and Lexie Belcher of Morgantown. She is in Mrs. Wilson’s preschool class at North Butler Elementary. Ryan Jane is the granddaughter of Jane Smith, also of Morgantown. She enjoys baking with Granny, playing bells at First Baptist Church with Ms. Ann, going to ball games to see the girls and being with her family.

Andrew is the 4 year old son of Blake and Jodi Chambers of Morgantown. He attends Caterpillar Lane Daycare. Andrew is the grandson of Marilyn and Ernest Chambers of Glasgow, John Southerland of Rochester and Lisa and Phillip Walker of Morgantown. His favorite things to do are eat cheese and spend time with his cousins Brielle, Tinslea & Trever. He likes to play basketball and Mario Kart, and play with his dogs, Joe Burrow & Bagel.

 2023 Bearfest Queen and King: Ms. Lizzy Smaluk and Mr. Brody Hunt. Lizzy is the daughter of Christina Bilbrey of Morgantown. She is a student at the University of Kentucky, pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Brody is the son of Jon and Andrea Hunt of Morgantown. Brody is a student at SKYCTC. He is currently working at Drakes Farm Service.
