The DECA State Competition was held Virtually and four BCHS students competed in this state competition.  Each student had to take a test and a preliminary role play to possibly qualify for finals event competition.  All 4 students made it to finals.  They all competed in finals and the results:

Jessilynn Embry was recognized as an outstanding DECA chapter member.

Lauren Givens won the Diamond in the Rough award.

Adam Rogers was in Top 8.

Lauren Givens was in Top 5.

Brady Jones won 3rd Place in Sports and Entertainment Marketing

Jessilynn Embry won 2nd Place in Principles of Finance.

Brady Jones and Jessilynn Embry have qualified to attend the DECA International Career Development Conference in April.  

Becky Melton and Thomas Miller are very proud of each of these students.  In a year of such uncertainty and craziness these students made Butler County proud.  Congratulations to each of these students
