Everyone was an artist at the fourth annual Chalk Art and Craft Festival. West Ohio Street was closed off for children and community members to gather and create artwork of their choice. The event was sponsored by the Butler County Arts Guild and in conjunction with the Morgantown–Butler County Tourism Commission and Butler County Public Library. Cash prizes were given for winners of the chalk art contest and cash prize drawings were sponsored by Double E Vending. Local vendors and craft booths were present along with live music and food. Face painting, bubbles and other activities were also available. Pets from the Butler County Animal Shelter were present and available for adoption.

“Never stop creating art,” one member of the art guild said during the event.
