2018 Rural Development Annual Meeting Will Celebrate 61 Years – October 27

Betty Farris at Butler County Rural Development in 2017

The 61st Butler County Rural Development Annual Meeting will be Saturday night, October 27th at the new Butler County Extension Office (102 Parkway Lane) at 6 p.m.

Each year the rural development clubs come together to celebrate the year’s accomplishments.  This year the clubs will be celebrating 61 years of progress.  Attendees will enjoy a wonderful holiday style meal prepared by the clubs.  There will be musical entertainment by the Youth Bell Ringer Choir from First Baptist Church.  Each club will be entering a pecan pie and attendees will be able to vote for their favorite.  The winner will be crowned as the best pecan pie in Butler County.  There will be a short business session during the program, but the focus of the night is on celebrating 61 years of progress.  The Rural Development Steering Committee wants to invite everyone in the community to come celebrate with them during this special program.

For more information, contact the Butler County Cooperative Extension Service at 102 Parkway Lane, Morgantown or call 270-526-3767.
