2013 Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner

Mayor Linda Keown and Judge Executive David Fields presented CASCO with the Outstanding Industrial Business of the Year Award.

The Morgantown –Butler County Chamber of Commerce held their Annual Awards Dinner on Monday night.  Chamber president James Runion welcomed members and guests prior to the dinner catered by Green River Caterers.  Gold sponsors were Butler County Farm Bureaum Morgantown Bank & Trust, Morgantown Prescription Center, Warren RECC, and Morgantown Utilities.  PBI Bank was a silver sponsor of the dinner. The following awards were given:


Butler County School Superintendent presented Audrey Porter with the Outstanding Youth Chamber Achievement Award.


Chamber board member Roger Southerland presented Doug Odle with the Outstanding Community Volunteer Award.


Chamber board member Diane Dyer presented the Butler County Arts Guild with the Outstanding Non Profit/Civic Group Award.


Chamber board member Jamie Chaney presented Kelley’s Fabrication & Equipment Repair with the Outstanding Agricultural Related Business of the Year Award.


Chamber board member Ricky Romans presented Bowling Green Machine & Welding with the Outstanding Small Business of the Year Award.


Chamber board member Shirley Allen presented the Morgantown Mission with the Outstanding Community Improvement Award.


James Runion presented State Representative C.B. Embry, Jr. with the Outstanding Community Leader Award.


Morgantown Mayor Linda Keown and Butler County Judge Executive David Fields presented CASCO with the Outstanding Industrial Business of the Year Award.


Outgoing Chamber board members were presented plaques of appreciation for their service: Jamie Chaney, Diane Dyer, Ricky Romans, and Wendy Givens.  Michael Coleman was not present. The the 2014 board members are Chad Bratcher, Richie Ellis, Josh Givens, Roger Givens, and Amanda Neighbors.
Runion thanked Robin Schroeder, Executive Director of the Chamber, for her service.  “Robin will be leaving the Chamber November 1st.  We appreciate her hard work and dedication to the Chamber."
